Due to the new law changes that came into effect on 1st October 2007 the airsoft or bb guns that we sell are clear, translucent and / or brightly coloured. You do not need a licence to own one of these type or to buy but you must be aged 18 or over.
The UK Law on Air Guns

The clear / translucent / brightly coloured guns are unrealistic imitations.

There is a ban on the sale of non-realistic imitation guns to people aged under 18. It is an offence for anyone under 18 to purchase one.

Please check the current and most up-to-date regulations in your country. It is permissible to purchace a RIF (Replica Imitation Firearm), if you belong to a verified airsoft group such as UKARA, or you are needing one for theatrical use. Most airsoft guns are available to buy as long as the airsoft gun has been sprayed Two Tone (over 51% a bright non-millitary colour). You can not do this yourself.

You must be an adult to buy. so we will ask for a date of birth during the checkout process and this may be checked via 192.coms age verification system.

Where an imitation firearm is not realistic (for example, due to it being bright red / orange / yellow / pink / purple / blue / green in colour or clear transparent or being less than 38mm/70mm in size) it must still only be sold to people aged 18 and over.
Air soft guns require observation of safety rules some of which include; wearing safety goggles, wearing an airsoft mask, keeping other people behind you when firing, using the safety catch, not leaving a gun loaded, keeping bb guns out of the reach of children, firing only on private land at a suitable target such as a bb gun target.
BB Gun Law

2008 - There is a ban on the sale of realistic imitation guns, including BB guns and toy guns and realistic ones are the black or silver / chrome style.

You should take advice from a reputable and knowledgeable organisation such as UKARA The United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association. They formed "in response to the 2006 Violent Crime Reduction bill to enable a safe method of selling Realistic Imitation Firearms (RiF's) to the UK Airsoft player market by confirming the eligibility of purchasers". Game sites and players are free to join, to find out how and whether your eligible please view the following sections.

There is also a ban on the sale of non-realistic (clear/brightly coloured) imitation guns to people aged under 18. But you may buy this and possess if you are 18 or over perfectly legally.
